MSE seniors awarded grants to attend USACA conference

Nick Henson and Alex Pasara were awarded USACA grants to attend the 45th Annual Conference on Composites, Materials and Structures in Cocoa Beach, Florida this year. USACA is the premier association that champions the common business interests of the advanced ceramic producer and end-user industries.

These grants are given to Outstanding Seniors working on defense-related senior projects. These grants include travel expenses, lodging and registration fees. Both Nick Henson and Alex Pasara presented posters on their senior projects, supervised by MSE Prof. Rich Haber.
