Program Concentrations
The Material Science and Engineering department encourages our students to select an area of focus in one or more of the following areas: biomaterials, nanomaterials, energy conversion and storage, polymers, electronic and optical materials, and packaging materials.
Students also have the opportunity to explore an area designed specifically to meet an individual student’s educational and career goals. This specialization is accomplished via the selection of technical electives in the targeted area. Speak to your faculty advisor or stop by the Department Office.
